Mayci completed her last week OUTSTANDING!!  She never ceases to amaze me. She’s not saying complete words but she is verbalizing a lot. JUST RAMBLING, its so funny because she talks the most with my momma.  GO FIGURE!!  Only mom can bring it out in her. 

We have learned so much and still the journey continues. We have determined that all the vitamins and supplements are not getting into her system as we had hoped.  They are not dissolving into the blood stream and cells.  They are but not the “WOW” factor that we had hoped for.  We are hoping that with this new doctor we can maybe do IV therapy.  I don’t quiet understand it all yet and we want do anything until we do. But from what was explained to me its that the IV therapy will be kinda like a mitochondrial cocktail in IV form.  IV meaning that we will put the meds in the vein and let it go directly into the blood stream.  This doctor thinks that she has found a way to get inside the mitochondrial cell where Mayci’s problems actually lie.

 As most of you know, I’m not one to sit back and wait.  I have been fortunate enough to be in a position to be around some of the best doctors in the world.  I had this one doctor come up to me and was worried that I would be offended if she wanted to make suggestions for Mayci!! She said that she wanted to see Mayci’s medical records and take a look!!! ARE YOU SERIOUS!! I have NEVER NEVER in my life had a doctor to want to take a stab at it!!!  I just about jumped over the table and suffocated her with a bear hug.  She’s actually so busy that she doesn’t see new patients and her regulars have to wait 6 months or more just to see her.  Well I got a call from her office and we can get in and we ARE seeing HER!!  not her assistant. ON MAY 6th in Illinois.       HOW GREAT IS THAT!

I know I’m away from my girls now since I took on this job but it’s moments like this that I know I’m doing it for all the right reasons.  I will ALWAYS FIGHT!!!!

I may be overboard at times but really when is too much?  How do you honestly know when to accept “she is the way she is?” I just don’t think I could sleep at night if I didn’t try everything that was being offered as long as it is safe. 

Anyway, I’m done with my speech….  I guess I’m talking to myself as well as others.

On a lighter note.  FUNDRAISING FUNDRAISING FUNDRAISING.
I am wanting to design another T-shirt. have a concert, bake sale, Auction, etc….  If anyone is willing to volunteer and help on a committee (we, Mayci) would GREATLY appreciate it. 

If I didn’t have your support and donations, then Mayci could not do any of this biomedical therapy.  So thank you so much for your help and support.  Do you all realize how very important you are to us?  Any little bit of encouragement keeps us going.
