Hello from Mayci’s window!
-
I often wonder what she is thinking. She will look at me and mumble things and I know that she has thoughts but my mind just races as to exactly what it is she is thinking. I know she is not hurting and she doesn’t seem frustrated. So for you out there reading this and your have your child chatting your head off. BE THANKFUL!
I was with all the TACA chapter moms this weekend in California. THat is about 70 moms with children with Autism. I had the pleasure of meeting Lisa Ackerman who started the group plus moms from just about every state in the US. I sat and met the TN representatives and I hope to go and talk with the TN TACA group about hyperbarics and diet and nutrition. It was a room full of moms so eager to get a break away from their families just for a short break. We all were able to share similar stories of NON-VERBAL kids. And what crazy things that they all do. It was nice to have parents to relate with. Our main goal is to make our children better. It wasn’t who pushed who on the playground, whose jealous of who or whose playing on which basketball team.
Shannon was with me at the event and Erin from the Wisconsin clinic. We had a sales meeting with the Oxyhealth staff and with some other sales people from Georgia. We learned a lot and I have new goals on what I need to do for this next year. I found out some of the conferences I will be attending this year also.
